Moelis & Co. appointed Richard Barker managing director to provide financial and strategic advice to oil and gas clients.
He was most recently head of oilfield services for North America at JPMorgan Chase & Co. He will start at Moelis in August.
LPL Financial LLC recruited Mike Bensey as a financial adviser. Bensey also aligned with Good Life Cos., which offers support and resources to LPL Financial advisers. He previously worked at Ameriprise Financial Services Inc.
Lazard Ltd. named Stephen Davy as a managing director, advising companies in the diversified and natural resources sectors. He was previously Credit Suisse Group AG's head of metals and mining for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Lazard hired William Sembo as a senior adviser in financial advisory, focusing on the energy and power industry. He previously worked at RBC Capital Markets, where he held roles such as vice chairman and a senior leader in the energy group.
D.A. Davidson Cos. named Scott Witeby as CFO, replacing Tom Nelson, who will retire in 2020. He previously was Lincoln Financial Network's CFO.
BTIG LLC named Andrea Alfonso and Marie Thibault as directors and healthcare analysts. The two previously held equity research roles at Lazard Capital Markets.

Richard Manley, Goldman Sachs Group Inc.'s co-head of Europe, the Middle East and Africa equity research, has decided to retire, according to an internal memo posted in a Business Insider report. He joined the investment banking giant in 2001.
Barclays PLC named Taylor Wright as managing director and co-head of U.S. equity capital markets. He was previously Morgan Stanley's head of financial institutions and services for equity capital markets.
