Computer Peripherals International fiscal Q2 profit climbs YOY

CPI Computer Peripherals International said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, came to €42,690, a gain from €10,970 in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin increased to 1.1% from 0.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 5.0% year over year to €4.0 million from €3.8 million, and total operating expenses climbed year over year to €3.9 million from €3.7 million.

Reported net income increased from the prior-year period to €53,750, or 1 cents per share, from €26,670, or 0 cents per share.
