Kelsey Developments fiscal Q3 loss narrows YOY

4984803 said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, amounted to a loss of 19 Sri Lankan cents per share, compared with a loss of 1.98 rupees per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 3.4 million rupees, compared with a loss of 34.6 million rupees in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin was 2.0%.

Total revenue rose year over year to 166.5 million rupees from 1.2 million rupees, and total operating expenses grew year over year to 174.6 million rupees from 15.2 million rupees.

Reported net income came to a loss of 5.4 million rupees, or a loss of 31 cents per share, compared to a loss of 50.7 million rupees, or a loss of 2.91 rupees per share, in the year-earlier period.
