The 573-MW Race Bank offshore wind farm in the U.K. will be officially launched June 13, according to a news release.
The offshore wind farm is 50% owned by Ørsted A/S, 25% owned by Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 5 LP, 12.5% by Sumitomo Corp. and funds advised by the Green Investment Group Ltd, and 12.5% by Arjun Infrastructure Partners Ltd. and Gravis Capital Management Ltd.
Located off the North Norfolk coast and operated from Ørsted's East Coast Hub in Grimsby, the facility consists of 91 Siemens Gamesa wind turbines.
