LPL Financial LLC added BMG Advisors to its broker/dealer and corporate registered investment adviser platforms.


Lockton Inc. added Ash Shah as managing director and Femi Ogunjumo as vice president to its Lockton Capital Markets business.

Citadel Securities LLC hired Marco Birch and Eric Dannheim as senior portfolio managers within its macro strategies business, Bloomberg News reported. Birch and Dannheim are joining Citadel from Moore Capital Management LP.


William Blair appointed Daniel Mena managing director and head of fixed-income sales to focus on managing and expanding the firm's fixed-income distribution platform. Mena was most recently with Credit Agricole.


Longtime Hovde Group LLC investment bankers R. Clark Locke and Joseph Morton have joined Magstar Capital LLC, according to the company's website and broker/dealer regulatory records.


Greenhill & Co. Inc. appointed Todd VanderMolen managing director for the industrial sector team. VanderMolen most recently worked at XMS Capital Partners LLC.

Piper Jaffray Cos. appointed Andy Cox managing director within its consumer investment banking division. Cox joined from Wells Fargo Securities LLC.


Broadhaven Capital Partners LLC added financial services investment banker Kirk Wilson from Greenhill & Co.

Edward Knight, head of European One Delta Equity Sales at Goldman Sachs Group Inc., is retiring at year-end after 14 years at the company, Business Insider reported.


Ben Friedman joined Citigroup Inc.'s bond-trading division from hedge fund CQS, Business Insider reported.

Sept. 27

Shawn Joshi, a managing director and derivatives trader in Goldman Sachs Group Inc.'s credit trading business, left the company to join Morgan Stanley, Business Insider reported.


National Holdings Corp. added David Toti, Matthew Galinko and Paul Bienstock to its equity research team.
