Coronal Energy completes 2 solar projects in Virginia

Coronal Energy on May 22 said it completed the 5-MW Palmer and 5-MW Martin solar projects in central Virginia.

The facilities will sell power to Central Virginia Electric Cooperative under a 25-year contract. The co-op plans to offer 4 MW of the 10 MW generated by the projects to its members under its community solar program, called Solar Share.

McCarthy Building Cos. Inc. provided engineering, procurement and construction services for the projects.
