Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd. consolidated its interest in the Cowtrail copper-gold project in British Columbia in a bid to attract a new exploration partner.
The company noted in its March 28 release that Dajin Resources Corp. earned a 65% interest in the 4,600-hectare property in 2011.
Dajin, which is focused on lithium exploration in the Americas, transferred its stake in the project to Cariboo Rose, provided the company shares any third-party option proceeds with Dajin on a 50/50 basis for three years.
Previous work by Dajin on the project identified a large exploration target, with drilling returning assays including 18.2 meters at 1.16 g/t of gold and 40 meters at 0.17% copper and 0.11 g/t of gold.
