Bank of America closes sale of depositary shares

Bank of America Corp. closed the sale of 54 million depositary shares on May 16, according to a Form 8-K.

Each depositary share represents a 1/1,000th interest in a share of the Charlotte, N.C.-based company's series GG preferred stock.

The filing listed Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc. as sole book runner. Joint lead managers were J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, UBS Securities LLC, Wells Fargo Securities LLC and RBC Capital Markets LLC.

Junior co-managers were Academy Securities Inc., Drexel Hamilton LLC, Mischler Financial Group Inc. and R. Seelaus & Co. Inc.
