French insurer AXA entered into an agreement with Elkhan Garibli to sell all of its insurance operations in Azerbaijan.

Under the agreement, Garibli will acquire 100% of nonlife unit AXA MBask Insurance Co. OJSC. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Completion of the deal remains subject to closing conditions, including receipt of regulatory approvals.
