Unitil senior VP, CFO and treasurer to retire

Unitil Corp. on Jan. 3 announced the planned retirement of Mark Collin, senior vice president, CFO and treasurer of the company, effective May 1.

Collin's career spanned 34 years in the utility, financial management and regulatory sectors. He has served as Unitil's corporate treasurer since 1998 and CFO since 2003.

He will formally step down as CFO and treasurer on March 1 and will be succeeded by Christine Vaughan, currently senior vice president of financial and regulatory services of Unitil Service Corp. Vaughan will assume the titles of senior vice president, CFO and treasurer.

Before joining Unitil, she served as CEO of Watrelle and as vice president for rates and regulatory and treasurer for Eversource Energy.
