FID Peru acquires additional 5.69% stake in La Positiva

FID Peru S.A. acquired 23,213,666 shares of La Positiva Vida Seguros y Reaseguros SA through a public offer.

The shares account for 5.69% of La Positiva's total capital stock. FID Peru originally intended to acquire up to a 24.87% stake in La Positiva when it announced the public offer in April.

The acquired shares will add to the 51% majority stake in La Positiva purchased by FID Peru in January.

FID Peru is part of Portugal-based Fidelidade - Companhia de Seguros SA.

La Positiva is Peru's fourth-largest insurance group with a market share of 11% and consolidated premiums of more than $500.0 million.
