Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc. said its normalized net income for the third quarter amounted to 4 Philippine centavos per share, compared with 4 centavos per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 130.4 million pesos, a gain of 6.0% from 123.0 million pesos in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 2.0% from 2.0% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 6.7% on an annual basis to 6.54 billion pesos from 6.13 billion pesos, and total operating expenses climbed 6.6% on an annual basis to 6.32 billion pesos from 5.93 billion pesos.
Reported net income totaled 146.0 million pesos, or 4 centavos per share, compared to 138.9 million pesos, or 4 centavos per share, in the year-earlier period.
