Rocky Mountain Liquor swings to loss in Q3

Rocky Mountain Liquor Inc. said its normalized net income for the third quarter amounted to a loss of C$1,730, compared with income of C$234,000 in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin declined to negative 0.0% from 1.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue fell 8.2% on an annual basis to C$12.2 million from C$13.3 million, and total operating expenses declined 5.8% on an annual basis to C$12.0 million from C$12.7 million.

Reported net income totaled a loss of C$568,110, or a loss of 1 cents per share, compared to income of C$577,530, or 1 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
