Air Liquide Q3 revenue climbs 3.5% YOY

Air Liquide SA said its third-quarter total revenue was €5.45 billion, a 3.5% rise from €5.27 billion in the prior-year period.

Gas and services revenue, which represents 96% of the group's sales, totaled €5.24 billion, compared with €5.07 billion in the year-earlier period.

Engineering and construction revenue declined 22.9% year over year to €81 million from €105 million, while global markets and technologies revenue grew 31.4% on an annual basis to €131 million.

Air Liquide said it expects to deliver net profit growth in 2019 at constant exchange rates, assuming a comparable environment. The company's total revenue for the first nine months of 2019 amounted to €16.41 billion, up from €15.43 billion in the same period a year ago.
