Sean Walsh, managing director and co-head of Goldman Sachs Group Inc.'s financing group for Australia and New Zealand is departing the U.S. financial group, The Australian reported Aug. 14, citing an internal company memo.

Walsh, who is also a director of Goldman Sachs Australia, is retiring after more than 26 years within the industry.

It is understood that Walsh will take some time off before deciding on his next move, the publication reported.
