Arca said its third-quarter normalized net income came to 1.19 Mexican pesos per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 1.33 pesos per share.
EPS increased 13.8% year over year from 1.05 pesos.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 1.92 billion pesos, an increase of 13.7% from 1.69 billion pesos in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 9.3% from 10.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 26.0% year over year to 20.70 billion pesos from 16.43 billion pesos, and total operating expenses rose 27.2% year over year to 17.03 billion pesos from 13.39 billion pesos.
Reported net income increased 14.1% from the prior-year period to 2.09 billion pesos, or 1.30 pesos per share, from 1.83 billion pesos, or 1.14 pesos per share.
As of Oct. 22, US$1 was equivalent to 16.55 Mexican pesos.
