Financiera Credinka cancels 7.5M soles capital hike in favor of larger increase

Financiera Credinka SA said its shareholders have decided to cancel a previously agreed capital increase of 7.5 million Peruvian soles, opting instead to execute a new capital hike of up to 20 million soles.

The new hike will be implemented through the issuance of 20 million new shares. The new shares will have a placement value of 2 soles each, including a subscription premium of 1 sol.

All existing shareholders will have preferential subscription rights to participate in the capital hike in direct proportion to the amount of shares they currently hold, the company said. The share offering will take place between Dec. 26 and Jan. 16, 2018.

As of Dec. 4, US$1 was equivalent to 3.24 Peruvian soles.
