BBVA Perú issues bonds worth 65.5M soles

Banco BBVA Perú said it placed about 65.5 million Peruvian soles of bonds, representing the first issuance of series E notes under the bank's seventh corporate debt program.

The bonds carry a term of three years and will pay a fixed nominal interest rate of 4.09375%, the bank said. Demand for the notes reached about 139.4 million soles.

The company announced the offering earlier in August, initially setting the offering range amount at between 70 million soles and 120 million soles.

As of Aug. 5, US$1 was equivalent to 3.38 Peruvian soles.
