Lauritz.com Group A/S, a provider of online auction services in Denmark, said Dec. 1 that CEO Erik Norberg and three of its board directors have resigned from their posts, effective immediately.
"Unfortunately, we have experienced differences in management style which have not been possible to reconcile. Therefore, it is in the best interest of Lauritz.com that Erik Norberg leaves the company," Bengt Olaf Tony Sundstrøm, chairman of the board of directors, said in a statement.
COO Henrik Engmark, who has been with the company for five years, has been appointed interim CEO. The company said the CEO recruitment process will begin shortly.
Board directors Petra von Rohr, Henrik Blomquist and Josephine Salenstedt will step down "due to different views on how the company is governed," according to the announcement.
The change in management comes a month after the company commenced a strategic and financial review of the business.
