Charterhouse Capital Partners to sell Italian cheese manufacturer

Private equity firm Charterhouse Capital Partners LLP agreed to divest Italian cheese producer and distributor Nuova Castelli to local food processing company Gruppo Lactalis Italia.

Terms of deal were not disclosed.

The cheese manufacturer previously changed owners in 2014 when Charterhouse acquired it from its founder, according to a release.

Rothschild, Credit Agricole and Simmons & Simmons advised Charterhouse on the sale.
