Report: PE firm Antin weighs sale of fiber network operator Eurofiber

Antin Infrastructure Partners is exploring a sale of Dutch fiber-optic network operator Eurofiber BV, Bloomberg News reported, citing sources.

The private equity firm has reportedly had initial contact with possible buyers, including infrastructure funds, to gauge their interest in Eurofiber.

A formal auction process could begin in 2020, with Eurofiber potentially being valued at more than €1.5 billion, the sources told Bloomberg News.

In 2015, Antin acquired Eurofiber from Doughty Hanson & Co. Ltd. and investment company Reggeborgh Groep for €875 million.
