Persimmon PLC recorded total group revenues of £3.74 billion in full-year 2018, up 4% from £3.60 billion in 2017, according to its latest trading update.

The U.K. homebuilder noted the same year-over-year incline of 4% in new housing revenues to £3.55 billion from £3.42 billion, adding that its average sale price rose 1% to approximately £215,560.

Annual production increased by over 75%, with the opening of 1,370 new selling outlets and the delivery of 97,175 new homes.

Over the 12 months ended Dec. 31, 2018, the group bought more than 17,000 plots of land in over 80 locations and is building new homes in about 365 active developments.

The homebuilder said it launched a new business in Harworth, U.K., on Jan. 2 that will facilitate its growth across the Yorkshire region.

The company's final results for 2018 will be released Feb. 26.
