Amazon.com Inc. launched the Twitch Prime service in Japan, the Nikkei Asian Review reported.
Twitch Prime will deliver content offered by major game-livestreaming service Twitch, which reportedly has 15 million daily active users. Through Twitch, users can livestream their game sessions, communicate with viewers, cultivate fan bases and gain sponsorships.
Amazon Prime subscribers can link their membership IDs with their Twitch IDs to watch livestreams ad-free.
The e-commerce giant expects Twitch to drive more traffic to its online shopping website, the report said.
