Oxide gold resources up at Golden Predator's Brewery Creek project in Canada

An updated resource estimate for Golden Predator Mining Corp.'s Brewery Creek gold mine in Canada's Yukon Territory increased indicated oxide gold by 55% and inferred oxide gold by 78%, compared to the previous 2014 estimate.

The project hosts indicated oxide resources containing 765,000 ounces of gold at an average grade of 1.125 g/t, with inferred oxide resources containing 440,000 ounces at an average 0.967 g/t, according to a Jan. 15 news release. Brewery Creek also hosts inferred sulfide resources containing 270,000 ounces of gold grading an average 0.985 g/t.

The updated estimate used various cutoff grades ranging from 0.42 g/t to 0.53 g/t and incorporated data from drilling completed through the end of 2015.

Golden Predator said it will release a further resource update to incorporate results from subsequent programs, including 177 drillholes completed in late 2019. The company is also considering reprocessing material on the heap leach pad at the site.
