Sprint offers mobile 5G service in more areas, adds 5G device from OnePlus

Sprint Corp.'s "True Mobile 5G" wireless service is now available in areas of Los Angeles, New York City, Phoenix and Washington, D.C.

In New York City, the service is available in parts of Manhattan from Central Park to the southern tip. Sprint's 5G service is available in parts of Midtown East and West, including places such as Times Square, Chelsea Piers, Rockefeller Center and other destinations.

The network launched in areas of Los Angeles, including from Marina del Rey to Downtown L.A., and West Hollywood to Culver City. Sprint customers across the greater Phoenix area can access the 5G service in parts of Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale and Glendale.

Users in Washington, D.C., can access the service around the U.S. Capitol, the White House, the National Mall, Foggy Bottom, Downtown, Penn Quarter/Metro Center, Dupont Circle and more.

The U.S. carrier earlier launched mobile 5G services in areas of Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth, Kansas City as well as areas in Chicago. Sprint also expanded the network coverage in these market to more areas.

Additionally, Sprint added a device from Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus Technology (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd. to its lineup of 5G devices. The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G is available for $20 per month for a limited time with $0 down and Sprint Flex lease. Sprint users can now also access Hatch mobile cloud gaming on Sprint's 5G smartphones.
