Depo Auto Parts Industrial Q3 profit climbs 48.7% YOY

Depo Auto Parts Industrial Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the third quarter was NT$2.72 per share, a gain of 48.5% from NT$1.83 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$453.4 million, an increase of 48.7% from NT$305.0 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 12.4% from 8.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased on an annual basis to NT$3.66 billion from NT$3.53 billion, and total operating expenses grew on an annual basis to NT$3.23 billion from NT$3.09 billion.

Reported net income grew 56.5% from the prior-year period to NT$633.0 million, or NT$3.80 per share, from NT$404.4 million, or NT$2.43 per share.
