Swedbank issues 2B kronor green bond

Swedbank AB (publ) issued a 2 billion Swedish kronor green bond, its second issuance of such securities.

Proceeds from the five-year senior unsecured bond will be used to finance sustainable real estate and renewable energy investments, Swedbank said March 22. The Swedish lender first issued a green bond in October 2017 for €500 million.

As of March 22, US$1 was equivalent to 8.23 Swedish kronor.
