A consortium led by Boyuan Holdings Ltd. plans to construct the 344-hectare master planned Northern Gateway mixed-use development at the Badgerys Creek suburb in Sydney, The Australian Financial Review reported.
The consortium includes Scentre Group, Western Sydney University, Professor Charlie Teo and logistics company LOGOS, the May 28 report noted.
Plans for the 200,000-square-meter precinct include 9,000 new homes, a university, hotels, public spaces, health and retail facilities, and a logistics estate, which will be operated by LOGOS.
The development will form part of the larger 10,000-hectare greenfield area around the Western Sydney Airport, the publication added.
