Dgenx Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to a loss of 4.96 South Korean won per share, compared with a loss of 40.57 won per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 95.3 million won, compared with a loss of 782.2 million won in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin rose to negative 0.4% from negative 6.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 76.9% year over year to 21.45 billion won from 12.13 billion won, and total operating expenses increased 58.5% year over year to 21.26 billion won from 13.42 billion won.
Reported net income totaled a loss of 315.1 million won, or a loss of 16.41 won per share, compared to a loss of 983.3 million won, or a loss of 51.00 won per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Nov. 12, US$1 was equivalent to 1,159.89 South Korean won.
