CyberAgent to replace Furukawa on Nikkei 225

CyberAgent Inc. will replace Furukawa Co. Ltd. on Japan's Nikkei 225 index, effective Oct. 1.

Nikkei Inc. said it added CyberAgent due to its high liquidity and removed Furukawa as a result of adjusting the number of constituents among sectors. Nikkei also changed the presumed par value of each share for eight companies on the Nikkei 225 in light of their planned reverse stock splits.

Separately, home building producer Nissei Build Kogyo Co. Ltd. will be replaced by Space Value Holdings Co. Ltd. on the JPX-Nikkei Mid Small Cap Index, effective Oct. 1, following Space Value's acquisition of Nissei Build Kogyo.
