Robin Vince, Goldman Sachs Group Inc.'s chief risk officer, will retire at the end of 2019, Reuters reported.
Vince will become a senior director and an adviser to the executive office when he retires, an internal memo seen by S&P Global Market Intelligence confirmed. The investment banking giant named Controller and Chief Accounting Officer Brian Lee as its next chief risk officer, effective Nov. 4.
Goldman Sachs named Sheara Fredman to succeed Lee as controller and chief accounting officer, also effective Nov. 4, according to a regulatory filing. Fredman was previously the head of regulatory controllers.
Vince's retirement comes amidst a slew of high-profile departures in recent weeks, which include Head of Human Capital Management Dane Holmes and Global Co-Head of Securities Marty Chavez. Chief Technology Officer Elisha Wiesel has also left.
Goldman is looking to trim the number of partners in a bid to maintain the title's exclusivity, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal. Sources told Business Insider that the company is offering generous payouts to partners who decide to leave.
