Global investment manager AMP Capital Investors Ltd. amassed $3.4 billion for AMP Capital Global Infrastructure Fund II, Bloomberg Business reported, citing an emailed statement from Global Head of Infrastructure Equity Boe Pahari.
The fund surpassed its $3 billion initial target and the amount raised reportedly includes more than $1 billion in co-investment commitments.
The vehicle attracted capital from more than 60 institutional clients, including PensionDanmark A/S, Kempen Private Markets Fund, West Yorkshire Pension Fund and Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Co., the news outlet reported, citing a compilation of disclosures and data.
Cloud services company Expedient Holdings USA LLC and fiber provider Everstream Solutions LLC are some of the businesses backed by the fund.
