Standard Chartered Plc added three former HSBC Holdings Plc bankers to its private banking team in Greater China and North Asia, finews.asia reported Jan. 27, citing "a company release."
Teddy Kwong was appointed as managing director for private banking, while Peter Lam was appointed as deputy market head of private banking. Meanwhile, the bank appointed James Ling as executive director and team leader of its private banking division. Kwong, Lam and Ling will be based in Hong Kong.
Most recently, Kwong was market head of Hong Kong with HSBC, while Lam was a managing director at the bank. Ling served as senior director at the bank.
