Ginza Renoir fiscal Q3 profit climbs 35.0% YOY

Ginza Renoir Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, came to ¥13.90 per share, an increase of 35.4% from ¥10.27 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥85.3 million, an increase of 35.0% from ¥63.1 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 4.5% from 3.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased 5.8% year over year to ¥1.91 billion from ¥1.80 billion, and total operating expenses increased from the prior-year period to ¥1.78 billion from ¥1.71 billion.

Reported net income rose 52.9% from the prior-year period to ¥73.1 million, or ¥11.92 per share, from ¥47.8 million, or ¥7.77 per share.

As of Feb. 12, US$1 was equivalent to ¥112.83.
