Huatai Securities names new directors

Huatai Securities Co. Ltd. said Aug. 30 that five directors resigned from its board.

Pu Baoying, Chen Ning, Gao Xu, Xu Feng and Zhou Yong have stepped down as nonexecutive directors, following the introduction of an upcoming board reform plan.

Meanwhile, the company nominated Ding Feng, Chen Yongbing, Hu Xiao and Fan Chunyan as nonexecutive directors, while Zhu Xuebo was nominated as an executive director.

In addition, Wang Huiqing, Du Wenyi and Liu Zhihong resigned as the company's shareholder supervisors.

Chen Ning, who resigned as nonexecutive director, Lan Ying and Yang Yaling have been named as their replacements.

The new appointments are subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.

The company noted that the outgoing directors and supervisors will continue in their roles until the nominated candidates formally assume the role.
