Nordex receives order for 172 MW of turbines for Netherlands wind project

Nordex SE received an order in December 2019 to supply and install 172 MW of wind turbines for the proposed De Drentse Monden en Oostermoer wind farm in the Netherlands.

The wind project will consist of three segments individually owned by Duurzame Energieproductie Exloërmond BV, Raedthuys DDM BV and Windpark Oostermoer Exploitatie BV.

In its final form, the De Drentse Monden en Oostermoer wind farm will feature 45 turbines with a combined capacity of 175.5 MW.

Turbine delivery and installation will begin in the second half, according to a news release.
