Rand Merchant Bank's corporate finance unit to appoint new leadership in July

FirstRand Ltd. unit Rand Merchant Bank is looking for new leadership of its corporate finance division to take over at the start of the bank's financial year in July, Bloomberg News reported March 13.

The current co-heads of the corporate finance unit, Craig Forbes and Puso Manthata, are set to leave later in 2019, the bank told Bloomberg via email. Forbes will be leaving after 12 years with Rand Merchant Bank to join his family's investment office by the end of 2019, while Manthata will serve as business development head of the lender's coverage division, according to the report.
