Naspers Ltd. is set to form a new global consumer internet group that will control its internet assets outside South Africa.
The entity, which is planned to be 75% owned by Naspers and to have a free float of about 25%, will be listed on the Euronext Amsterdam, according to a March 25 news release.
Some of the internet businesses that will form part of the new company include Tencent Holdings Ltd., Mail.ru Group Ltd. and OLX Inc.
The spinoff of the Naspers assets is expected to be implemented no earlier than the second half of 2019.
