Brown & Brown unit acquires assets of Texas MGA

Brown & Brown Inc. subsidiary Hull & Co. LLC has acquired substantially all of the assets of Texas All Risk.

The target is made up of All Risk General Agency Inc., Select General Agency LLC, TARGA Investment Corp., TARGA Premium Finance Co. Inc. and Texas All Risk General Agency Inc.

Texas All Risk is a managing general agency for independent retail insurance agencies placing a wide range of property and casualty insurance for businesses and individuals in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.

It will continue operating from its Dallas location as a new stand-alone office within Brown & Brown's wholesale brokerage segment.

Dowling Hales acted as the exclusive financial adviser of Texas All Risk on the deal.
