Pomona Capital's 9th secondaries fund hits $1.8B cap at final close

Pomona Capital reached a $1.8 billion cap for its ninth secondaries flagship fund at final close, surpassing its $1.75 billion target.

The Pomona Capital IX LP vehicle drew capital from existing and new investors across the globe, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, endowments, foundations and family offices.

The private equity firm, which has offices in New York, London and Hong Kong, focuses on the secondary market and had about $10 billion in capital commitments as of June 30.
