Elders Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended March 31 was A$8.3 million, a gain from A$230,880 in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
Total revenue climbed on an annual basis to A$645.2 million from A$631.4 million, and total operating expenses totaled A$623.6 million, compared with A$618.1 million in the year-earlier period.
Reported net income increased 99.4% year over year to A$15.9 million, or 11 cents per share, from A$8.0 million, or 4 cents per share.
