Salym Petroleum Development appoints new CEO

Michael Collins has been named CEO of Salym Petroleum Development N.V., a joint venture between GazpromNeft Finance BV and Shell Salym Development B.V., the company said in June 6 news release.

Collins succeeds Alexey Govzich, who led the company from 2015-2018 but moved to PJSC Gazprom Neft as executive technology director.

Prior to being appointed as CEO, Collins served as vice president of Wells Joint Ventures for Royal Dutch Shell PLC.

Salym Petroleum Development engages in oil and gas exploration and production from the Salym group of oilfields in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Russia.
