Illumina profit beats consensus by 36.9% in Q3

Illumina Inc. said its third-quarter non-GAAP EPS was $1.93, compared with the S&P Global Market Intelligence consensus normalized EPS estimate of $1.41 per share.

EPS climbed 27% year over year from $1.52.

Non-GAAP net income attributable to stockholders totaled $286 million, an increase of 26% from $227 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue grew 6.3% year over year to $907 million from $853 million.

GAAP net income attributable to stockholders rose 17.6% on an annual basis to $234 million, or $1.58 per share, from $199 million, or $1.33 per share.

Illumina forecasts non-GAAP EPS in the range of $6.40 to $6.45 for the full year 2019, compared with the previous outlook in the range of $6 to $6.10. The company also expects GAAP EPS in the range of $6.55 to $6.60 for the full year, compared with prior estimates in the range of $6.41 to $6.51.
