Victoria PLC fiscal H1 profit climbs YOY

Victoria PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Sept. 27 came to £1.5 million, an increase from £309,380 in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue increased 17.3% on an annual basis to £40.5 million from £34.5 million, and total operating expenses increased 11.5% year over year to £37.7 million from £33.8 million.

Reported net income totaled a loss of £6.3 million, or a loss of 13 pence per share, compared to a loss of £55,070, or a loss of 0 pence per share, in the year-earlier period.
