Ya-Man Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Oct. 31 amounted to 30 Japanese sen per share, a decrease of 91.2% from ¥3.41 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥17.5 million, a decrease of 91.2% from ¥198.8 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 0.6% from 5.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue fell 8.3% on an annual basis to ¥3.08 billion from ¥3.37 billion, and total operating expenses declined on an annual basis to ¥3.01 billion from ¥3.05 billion.
Reported net income declined 91.5% on an annual basis to ¥17.0 million, or 29 sen per share, from ¥199.0 million, or ¥3.41 per share.
As of Dec. 12, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.57.
