St. Louis-based Emerson Electric Co. said it acquired Belgium-based Advanced Engineering Valves, a manufacturer of valve technology, for an undisclosed amount.

Advanced Engineering Valves serves the liquefied natural gas, oil and gas, chemicals, and petrochemical sectors, producing and designing a range of specialized industrial valves.
