Italy-based FCA Bank SpA converted its Polish subsidiary FCA Bank Polska into a branch Jan. 1, as part of the group's efforts to streamline the organization and gain more direct control over its foreign businesses.
As a branch, the Polish unit will manage credit activities and provide support to the marketing and sales activities of the group. The move follows similar measures in 2017 and 2018, when the bank's Irish and Belgian branches were established, respectively.
FCA Bank is an equally held joint venture between FCA Italy SpA, a company of car manufacturer Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV, and CA Consumer Finance SA.
