Laconia Resources completes Kraaipan project acquisition

Laconia Resources Ltd. completed the acquisition of the Kraaipan gold-nickel-copper-platinum group metals project in Botswana.

The company intends to immediately kick off a comprehensive, targeted exploration program on the project area, which comprises an 866-square-kilometer prospecting license.

As part of the transaction, Peter Fox will step down as a director and will be replaced by Jeremy Read, according to the May 29 release.

The company's new management will comprise Quinton Hills as CEO and Fred Nhiwatiwa as the country manager in Botswana.
