ERG secures €24M in project financing for German wind farm

ERG SpA secured €24 million in project financing from German investor HSH Nordbank AG to construct and operate the 21.6-MW Linda wind project in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt.

The project will have six General Electric Co. wind turbines and is expected to begin operation in the first half of 2019.

The project was awarded following a tender in May 2018 and will receive a fixed rate of return for 20 years, according to a Jan. 3 release.
