Amicus Therapeutics promotes senior vice president to CFO

Amicus Therapeutics Inc. named its senior vice president Daphne Quimi CFO, effective Jan. 1, 2019.

Quimi has been on the company's finance senior leadership team for more than 11 years and will replace Chip Baird, who will leave the CFO role in the first quarter of 2019 for other career opportunities. Baird has been the CFO of the company since April 2012.

Quimi was the director of finance at Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. prior to Amicus.

Amicus also named David Clark its first chief people officer. David Clark has more than 20 years of leadership experience in human resources and talent development. He was the vice president of global human resources at Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. before joining Amicus.

The company promoted Ellen Rosenberg to chief legal officer. Rosenberg joined Amicus in February 2016 as general counsel and corporate secretary.

Cranbury, N.J.-based Amicus develops treatments for various rare diseases.
